Handmade butterfly Christmas ornament crafted in two layers of beautiful, long lasting hardwood. Each layer is a different wood species and each ornament is hand finished by our makers here at The Gray Shed.  We use U.S. sourced wood, cut the layers, then sand and finish them by hand. The final step is application of a lasting finish. We use U.S. sourced, water based polyurethane or Tung oil depending on the look we’re going for in the finished piece.

Each ornament has it’s own special character since the wood used to create it will have subtle variation in appearance.
